Service Description

Depart from Marina Bay Sands and be transported by our MRT system to ethnic quarter of Little India. As we listen to interesting stories walking through Campbell Lane, Buffalo Road and Tekka Centre, we next proceed to the Malay ethnic quarter of Kampong Gelam and walk through Bussorah Street, Sultan Mosque and the Malay Heritage Centre. Finally we proceed to Chinatown, dropping by the Sri Mariamman Temple, Pagoda Street, Trengganu Street and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum before enjoying a local lunch experience at Chinatown Food Market. We return to Marina Bay Sands by train. Meeting Point: Marina Bay Sands Hotel Lobby (main door) You are encouraged to be in casual attire (in view of our weather), wear a cap or bring an umbrella as there will be walking in the outside at suitable pace. All participants must be physically mobile. Please bring along your free MRT Rotary transport card for local transportation. Lunch and admission fee are not included (refer to below). Tour is 4 hours with an STB English speaking licensed guide starting at 9 am. Min group size: 4 adults. Max 10 adults per group. Additional costs: Lunch @ a local food court is an experience by itself, where you mingle and jostle with the locals seeking to satisfy their food craves. Our food stalls are hygiene-certified, offering clean, healthy and diverse tastes to suit everyone. You can even ask for less salt or sugar or more vegetables. A typical lunch at a local food court costs from S$4-6 pp (USD$2-3) on average.
